Industrial kitchen fire suppression
Wet chemical suppression over the hood and cooking appliances, under NFPA 96.

System description
In an industrial kitchen, a grease fire can spread through the hood and duct in very little time. Wet chemical suppression systems protect the hood, the duct, and the cooking appliances. We specialize in installing these systems and provide maintenance for Ansul R-102 systems.
NFPA 96 sets out the fire protection measures for commercial cooking exhaust and cooking appliances, including the suppression system; these systems are tested to UL 300.
When it activates, automatically or manually, the system discharges the agent over the protected zones and shuts off the fuel and power supply to the cooking appliances.
The photos show our crew’s work on Ansul systems: the enclosure with the agent tanks and the placement of the release mechanism cartridge.
