CAAF DE MÉXICO, located in Zapopan, Jalisco, is responsible for the use and protection of your personal data, and in this regard informs you of the following:

1. Personal data collected

To fulfill the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, CAAF DE MÉXICO may collect the following personal data, directly or indirectly, through its website, email, telephone, contact forms, or any other means:

  • Full name
  • Company legal name
  • Landline and/or mobile phone number
  • Email address
  • Tax or business address
  • Position or title
  • Business contact information
  • Information related to projects or to technical or commercial requirements

CAAF DE MÉXICO does not collect sensitive personal data, except for data that is strictly necessary and, where applicable, for which the data subject has given express consent in accordance with the law.

2. Purposes of the processing of personal data

The personal data collected will be used for the following purposes:

Primary purposes (necessary for the legal relationship):

  • Providing information about our design, installation, maintenance, and consulting services for fire protection systems
  • Preparing quotes and technical and commercial proposals
  • Responding to requests, questions, or comments
  • Following up on business and contractual relationships
  • Complying with legal, tax, and contractual obligations
  • Contacting the data subject for purposes related to the contracted services

Secondary purposes (not necessary):

  • Sending commercial, promotional, or institutional information
  • Evaluating the quality of the service
  • Invitations to events, training sessions, or corporate communications

If you do not want your personal data to be processed for the secondary purposes, you may state so at any time as described in the ARCO rights section.

3. Use of cookies and tracking technologies

The CAAF DE MÉXICO website may use cookies, web beacons, or other similar technologies in order to improve the user experience, analyze browsing trends, and obtain statistical data.

These technologies may collect information such as:

  • Browser type
  • Operating system
  • IP address
  • Pages visited
  • Time spent on the site

Users can disable cookies in their browser settings.

Third-party services used by the website

The website uses or may use the following third-party services. Each one is activated only at the moment indicated:

  • Google Analytics (Google): visit statistics. It is activated only if the person accepts measurement cookies in the cookie notice.
  • tawk.to: live chat. It loads only when the person opens the chat.
  • Brevo (Sendinblue): sends the information entered in the contact form by email to our sales team, at the moment the person submits it.
  • Google reCAPTCHA (Google): protects the form against automated submissions. It loads when the person starts filling out the form and analyzes technical data about the device and the interaction, subject to Google’s privacy policy.
  • Google Maps (Google): map of the office location. It loads only when the person asks to see the map.
  • WhatsApp (Meta): when the person chooses to write to us on WhatsApp, the conversation continues in that application.

The information that a person provides through these services is also subject to the terms and privacy notices of each provider, some of which may store it outside Mexico.

Information the site stores in the browser

  • caaf-consent and caaf-consent-exp: the decision about measurement cookies and the date it expires (180 days).
  • caaf-consent-chat and caaf-consent-chat-exp: stored only if the person opens the live chat (180 days).
  • _grecaptcha: stored by Google reCAPTCHA when the person starts filling out the form, to tell people apart from automated programs.

4. Transfer of personal data

CAAF DE MÉXICO will not transfer your personal data to third parties without your consent, except in the cases provided for by law, such as to competent authorities or when necessary to comply with legal or contractual obligations.

Under no circumstances will the data subject’s personal data be marketed, sold, or rented.

5. ARCO rights (Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition)

The data subject has the right to:

  • Access their personal data
  • Rectify it when it is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Cancel it when they consider that it is not necessary for the stated purposes
  • Oppose its processing

To exercise ARCO rights, the data subject must send a request to the following email address: administracion@caafmexico.com

The request must include:

  • Name of the data subject
  • Means for communicating the response
  • Documents proving their identity
  • A clear description of the data with respect to which they seek to exercise their rights

6. Security measures

CAAF DE MÉXICO has implemented administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction, or unauthorized use, access, or processing.

7. Changes to the privacy notice

CAAF DE MÉXICO reserves the right to make modifications or updates to this Privacy Notice arising from legal changes, internal policies, or new requirements for the provision of its services.

Changes will be available on our website.

8. Consent

By providing their personal data through this website or by any other means, the data subject acknowledges having read and accepted this Privacy Notice, granting their consent to the processing of their data as set out herein.

  • Article 6, Section A, subsection II, of the Constitución Política de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos (Political Constitution of the United Mexican States), which recognizes the right to the protection of personal data.
  • Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares (LFPDPPP) (Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties), published in the Diario Oficial de la Federación (Official Gazette of the Federation) on March 20, 2025.
  • Reglamento de la Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares (Regulations of the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties), published in the Diario Oficial de la Federación on December 21, 2011, which continues to apply insofar as it does not conflict with the law in force.
