For workplaces, NOM-002-STPS-2010 (the Official Mexican Standard issued by the STPS, Mexico's Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare) sets the fire prevention and protection requirements. The design and installation of fixed systems follow NFPA standards—13 for sprinklers; 14 for standpipe and hose systems; 20 for fire pumps; 22 for tanks; 25 for inspection and maintenance; 72 for detection and alarm; 96 for kitchens; 11 for foam; and 2001 for clean agents—and, when the property is insured by FM Global, its requirements.
We design and install in accordance with NFPA and FM Global requirements and STPS regulations. Our active NFPA membership allows us to design and implement engineering solutions based strictly on international standards.
