System description
In enclosures where water would damage what is being protected, clean agents extinguish the fire without wetting the equipment. We specialize in installing clean agent suppression systems in accordance with NFPA 2001.
A clean agent system stores the agent in cylinders and discharges it through piping and nozzles inside the protected enclosure. The amount of agent is calculated from the volume of the enclosure and the design concentration set by the standard.
Release is integrated with the enclosure’s detection: once the alarm is confirmed, the system warns the occupants and discharges the agent. For the system to work, the enclosure must retain the agent for the required time.
